Community Living at Brookfield

When you and your family buy a Brookfield home, you’re purchasing a lot more than a house, a garage and a backyard. As a Brookfield homeowner, you become part of a community. From designing master-planned, family-friendly communities with parks and trails to welcoming you with gift baskets on your move-in day, the homeowner experience is always top of mind at Brookfield. And the greatest way that we can give you an experience is through our dedication to fostering and building community.

Meet our Community Ambassador

Summer Block Party at Willow Glen in Tottenham

Our Community Ambassador, Derek, is one of the key ways that we ensure our homeowners will have a rewarding community experience. His role at Brookfield is to help our homeowners enjoy a pleasant quality of life in the community and the surrounding area. Derek provides opportunities for each homeowner to enjoy their community, whether through special Brookfield-sponsored events, local business promotions, or Brookfield-subsidized homeowner participation in local events.

Homeowner events

Halloween Movie Night at Pathways in Caledon East

Last year, our Community Ambassador hosted many fun, free events at our communities. The events are as varied as our homeowners, aiming to have something for everyone – from movie nights to cooking classes to DIY classes. We also have plenty of fun activities for kids and take the opportunity to introduce homeowners to local businesses and recreational activities. All events are complimentary – just one of the benefits of living in a Brookfield home and community.

Meet your neighbours

Holiday Mixer at The Arbors Condo in Aurora

The homeowner events hosted by our Community Ambassador are a great opportunity to get to know your neighbours. As everything has been planned and prepared for you, there’s absolutely no stress – all you do is show up! This relaxed and laid-back environment is a great way to meet new friends and to get to know your neighbours better.

Get involved!

DIY Holiday Classes (Wreath-Making) at Pathways in Caledon East and Fieldstone in Mono

If you live in a Brookfield home, what kind of homeowner events would you like to see in your community? Our Community Ambassador is always open to feedback, and loves to hear from you! You can get in touch by emailing Derek at or by phoning 905-477-5111.
