Natural Beauty
Life in Brookfield Homes’ Fieldstone community evokes the best of Ontario’s rural legacy — that of a carefree lifestyle where your kids can safely play outside, surrounded by greenery and fresh air and close to a beautiful lake, trails and valleylands.
Strolling through the Fieldstone community, you’ll have plenty of natural beauty to admire. The neighbourhood, at once stately and natural, is adorned with nature’s gifts, whether you take a stroll alongside the wood rail fences, relax on the granite boulders that double as decorative accents, or gaze at the bright colours bursting in the community’s many flowering shrubs and trees.
Splendid Playgrounds
Fieldstone Park is an oasis at one corner of the community, framed by majestic canopy trees and featuring a pavilion that invites neighbours to gather in its generous shade.
Choices here are simple and fulfilling. Relax in the central seating area, adorned with granite boulders and surrounded by a lush lawn where kids will often throw a ball around. Enjoy a stroll with your loved ones on a sublime summer evening, or take the dog for a run on the park’s walkway, which extends beyond Fieldstone and into the surrounding valleylands.
A short distance away, Fieldstone Pond offers yet another place to relax after a game of beach volleyball at Island Lake. The pond’s organic, curved shape blends in with the natural lands around it, while the native shrubs and trees surrounding the pond offer shade and colour. This is a great spot to sit back in the gazebo, admiring the decorative paving, beautiful stone terrace and natural cedar fence, a smile on your lips as you bask in the sunlight and your children toss stones into the water.
Away and Beyond
Thanks to several paths and nearby trails, Fieldstone makes strolling even more enjoyable. It all starts on the special trailhead on First Line intersecting with Pine Glen Road, right at the beginning of the Valley Lands Trail. Whether you want to stretch your legs, relax, or go for an energizing bike ride, this trailhead sets the perfect mood, thanks to its decorative paving, seating area, wood rail fence and granite boulders.
Venture all the way alongside the pond and up to First Line, or continue west into the neighbouring subdivision of estate homes. Or, for a change of scenery, take the boardwalk extending from French Drive, right by the Fieldstone Park, down to the trail along First Line, to explore in the other direction.
Respect for Nature
Everywhere in the Fieldstone community, care has been taken to respect the natural environment and to extend it to all the details that make this community such a gracious place.
Cedar rail fences, native plants and flowers and natural trail materials are some of the ways in which natural beauty is preserved at Fieldstone. Granite, a beautiful stone naturally found in the area, is reused as landscape features, including boulders that double as seating and decorative accents. A local grove of cedar trees will be preserved and maintained, providing enclosure around the Fieldstone Park.
Welcome to Fieldstone.
